Be Careful What Comments You Wish For?? Will be meeting with a friendly local guy at XXXXXXX's Tuesday to help me with my Wordpress blog.
Wheee-hooo. They have a disbanded support group here I Googled, but he was so sweet to mail me back and agree to let
me buy him a key-lime pie in exchange for figuring out my jpeg prob and hopefully give me some other pointers to get
that mother-f**ker on the road. Holey F**k! Jannie might have a blog with Comments next week !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Seen on a t-shirt while running today "The task ahead of you is never as great as the power that lies within you." (Totally my new motto!!!)

Weird, eh? One of my best friends lives
in a gorgeous big (finished,) house on a bunch of treed acres but her marriage is failing, whereas I live in a somewhat
nice, more than somewhat unfinished medium-sized house on an average-sized lot but my marriage is good and
will probably always be so.

Excerpts, W Corrections, (to Kalyani earlier today)
First Day Of The New School
Year
I feel so great.
1. Finished my MSN Live Search Games last night. FOREVER. Cashed in at 31,000 points for the Kitchen Aid mixer, a $299.99 value, which I'll
sell on eBay. (Or else start baking cookies for 5000 daily.) Could've gone on for another 9000 points (9 days
longer, three hours per stressy, harrowing, crick-in-the-neck day,) for the 6 megapixel Kodak but that's not enough
pixels, even for me. I had my mind set on freeing me of that computer-game burden by school's start and holey bleep-bleep
goodness if I didn't succeed!!! Bleep, Yah!!!!!
2. Kelly woke up herself at 6:53, a full 7
minutes before I was going to wake her. We've been working at it for 2 weeks now. Back on a school schedule
-- lights out at 9:15, up at 7:00, or 7:15 depending on how long she needs to get ready each morning this year.
3.
Figured out 2, and possibly 3, lyric concepts to melodies I've been trying to pound words into. Title
for one... "All I Want Is Everything, Right Now" (Is That So Much To Ask?) Title for two... " Shout
For Jesus" (I'm Gonna) Title for three... TBA with bells on.
4. Ran my 3 miles, plus did sit-ups,
leg-lifts and stretches at XXX XXXX XXXXX.
5. Didn't sleep but 2 hours last night, but what the bleep
-- I'll sleep good tonight.
6. Back to a real routine - love it!
7. Did
some voice exercises in the car. Just 5 minutes because I decided to stop at Randall's to look for an insulated
bowl. But at least I thought about them and plan to do 20 mins in the car later.
8. There was
enough on Jim's Capitol One credit card to fill my car! Now I can go wild with that $15.00 cash I have left.
9. I GOT GAS FOR $3.59 a GALLON !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What an amazing gift. Only
$55.57 to fill from empty.
10. My legs are tanned.
(My stomach is pooching out a bit, but you
can't have everything. Alas.)
I've had a pretty cool revelation, inspired by your show at the Irie Bean. I've been gearing my mind towards what songs to write for recordings. But I now see that if I have
12 songs I feel great about performing and get myself out in this awesome town, all else will fall into place. Baby
Steps, Baby. Write good songs, learn the guitar for them, get out there and share the wealth.
Last year I
think I was settling into so many things, this year I am focused with great direction towards a few concrete goals,
will be a great year of growth for me and next year, the year before we fly out of here and break 100 hearts, I
may even shine a tad.
Goals... 12 song to play out, learn some cute guitar for them ( much of which I already have
the lessons for on my little recorder.) Just 2 more songs to nail and write. Enter some contests with a couple
of the songs I've already recorded. Enter Poet On Watch's love-fest-music-spring-thang.
The Broadway
show "I Need A Man" is still down the line too. God, won't it be fun. If you can dream....
I'm not exactly sure why you believe in me so much musically and want to contine with me but I'm sure glad
you do.
Oh my God, another revelation... Would you let a kid into your house who was mean to your kid, rude to
you and a general bad influence? No! Neither would I. So why do we let the bad Muslims in here? Bleep,
easier said than done, how do you tell the good ones from the bad ones? There's the rub.
I think I'll
plant tomatoes.
Love, Jannie xo

For God So Loved The World When she finally
scraped the cat off her head, quite the bald spot was revealed. I pretended not to notice, the way you'd pretend
not to notice a huge goiter or a popsicle sticking out of someone's eyeball.
Then we ate some more pie.
Key lime.
Then Larry came over with beer and Jesus. We read out loud to each other and remembered
all we had to do was believe. Just believe. No catches. No codicils. Total forgiveness.
End
of story.

The Cat On Her Head Sure, it's strange how she
wears that cat on her head sometimes but that's just her way. Yet, if she didn't keep giving me free pies I'd
probably never see her again.
Sad, isn't it, when life-long friends write good-bye notes?
But maybe not as sad as when people who are meant for each other never meet, or glimpse each other only from opposite
sides of revolving doors. (There's a lot of the latter in places like New York City and Seattle. Even in Brisbane,
Australia.)
I really don't care what Paul and Pete said. Or do I? Would I jab them in
the heart with the acid from my crossword puzzles if they were here right now? Or serve them wine and cheese?
I don't really know.
And I'll never know.
That's life.

Write Something Make it happy. And snappy. Be
edgy. And cool. Be new. Be now. Be funny. Be deep. Be Everything to Everyone.
Or go jump in the pool.
I'm choosing pool.

New Running Shoes!!! I
bought my new running shoes yesterday!!!!! When I got my last pair about a year ago the guy recommended
I get new ones every 4 months. Yeah, right. Marathon Jannie, I'm not.
Love them new shoes!
Can't wait to hit the trail.
I have lost 7 lbs! (Of course won't be happy until I drop another 5.) The Olympics are on. It's all too exciting I think I'm going back to bed.
